This is DJ MIKE RELM...dude is killing it. He literally mixes video and "scratches" DVDs. His sets uses videos to the scratching and mash ups. Very innovative and super creative. Check it out!

Tahoe Galbi Restaurant

Met my friend Carolyne for lunch today at Tahoe on Wilshire and Wiltern in Koreatown. I have heard great reviews so had to come try it.

It was very good. Meat was fresh, nicely marinated. Service was just OK...as per usual...but it was good and I will def come back. $17.99 per person is a great price...and again the quality of the meat is pretty good.

Matthew's 1st birthday!

Drove out to cow country today...literally...for my buddy Warren's son's 1st bday party at the park. It was very very fun...lots of cute kids and good food. Check out the cake from King's Hawaiian!


They had the food brought in by Chik-Fil-A...which is a huge fave of mine. I ate 2 sandwiches and a bunch of nuggets!


The party had a western them, so the cupcakes had horses on them!

After a night of bowling and driving around a car full of drunks....you get a little hungry right?

We went here..and WOW. The food was killer...dayam.



The usual chips and salsa...awaited us at the table....salsa was fresh too...

too much for me....yes...

these are their SOPES! Two huge as breads with meat and cheese and guac and lettuce and green chili and and and...wow. I had a carnitas one and a carne asada...both of the meats were DEELISH. Nice and flavorful...and ooooh so good at 2AM.

But you do pay a price as you get older...I was feeling the effects later that night trying to go to sleep. Ugh...that was tough jumping in bed at 3AM with this in your stomach.
